It’s been a little more than 50 years since I first saw “Kelly’s Heroes” on “The CBS Late Movie” and heard this for the first time. Not much meaning for me then but a few decades later, it kinda hits home.

I guess I should have listened to my friends
#KellysHeroes was made the same year as #MASH (1970) & is one of a number of #WarMovies made during the #VietnamWar with an irreverence & #AntiEstablishment sentiment which I believe grew out of the growing public opposition against that war at that time.
The #DirtyDozen (1967) is another one.
