Does #KDEPlasma's built in backup tool even work? I want my backups on a separate partition in a secondary drive I mounted to /mnt/bkp, is there anyway to get it to see it? I'm using #Timeshift for system snapshots, but I may have to use it for more if #KBackup doesn't meet my needs.

KBackup is an application which lets you back up your data in a simple, user friendly way. The program is designed to be used by non-computer experts.

The one major gripe I have with #KDE is that its default backup program is outdated. #Gnome one-up'd KDE with #pika backup integrating #Borg and making the UI ridiculously well designed.

I wish #KBackup would be upgraded to support #BTRFS snapshots and Borg (including remote backups) cc: @kde

@tuxedovpn My preferred app changed over time, iirc like this:

#LuckyBackup --> #BackInTime --> #Grsync --> #Kbackup --> #Kup
