Tāne Mahuta, god of the forest, is the largest living Kauri tree. It is over 1000 years old and these photos truely do not capture its enormous presence.

I got to spend some time in its presence in Aotearoa New Zealand earlier this year and it was one of the most moving and wonderful experiences of my life.
