A few months ago we decided to pull out an old track for a show, which meant I had to relearn to breaks. Here I am playing along with the first two breaks, which were directly transcribed (with permission) from the great #DibloDibala of #soukous fame. The full studio track from our first record, "Songs in Borrowed Time," follows. I'm playing the same #Kauer Banshee custom #Firebird I used for the original track.

What the #Heritage #H-575 sounds like. New version of a cut from our 2012 #studio record "Songs in Borrowed Time."
Relearned my guitar parts from the original, which borrows a bit from the great Soukous player Diblo Dibala, but also from the Indian Carnatic style of guitar. Took long hours of work, but in the end I may have gotten close. My fingers ain't getting no younger!
Also features the #Suhr #Stratocaster and #Kauer Banshee.
What the #Kauer #Banshee sounds like. I’m using the Banshee on all of the fills and my solo turns. Guitar is super light, made of Spanish cypress. Nice warm Wolftone humbuckers.
The solos also feature #DannyGotham on a #ParkerFly.
