What will I see at the Kauai Museum?

You will discover many of the traditions that helped make Kauai what it is today.

That includes the cowboy culture of the Hawaiian Islands. The Paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) culture began soon after the first horses were brought to the Hawaiian Islands in 1793.

The Paniolo culture is still thriving today. The Garden Island still has a Paniolo presence, even if it is not as prominent as it is on other islands.
