I finished Blood on the Tide by #KateeRobert this morning. I enjoyed it, even though vampires aren’t really my thing and I have to skim the blood scenes. I especially appreciated how Robert showed the characters thinking about new people using gender neutral terms until they had introduced themselves or been introduced by someone who knows them. My non-binary heart found this soothing. And the sapphic selkie/vampire romance was sweet. #romance #amreading

I read a smutty book recently. It was interesting but the world building left a lot to be desired. The sex scenes were great but not great enough to make me ignore some obvious questions. 3/5
