Richard PennerOn Monday, a judge ruled against Kari Lake's last claim in a misguided attempt to overturn the 2022 election for Governor. This follows a three-day trial which began with Lake's own eyewitness confirming that signature verifications were being performed, which kind of wrecked the whole case.
Today, defendants get to argue that Lake should pay for their costs to defend against this conspiracy-theory-fueled nonsense. Lake has only until 5 PM on Wednesday to argue against any such charges.
