I started watching "Karen Pirie" on britbox. Cool show so far (still on S1E1). It's interesting cinematically how they will frequently interweave past relevant events with modern day.
Nice implementation of "don't tell, show" that isn't even confusing. Must have good writers.
A) A huge #ValMcDermid fan
B) Love the #KarenPirie series of books
C) now a big #LaurenLyle fan as Pirie
D) #EmerKenny has done a great job adapting the books and is a good River Wilde but we don't see enough of her.

Just finished watching season 1 of Karen Pirie. It is a detective series based in Scotland and I found that I was hooked immediately. Currently available on Acorn.
