When I watch youtube channels about #HomeCinema they often bring up #Kaleidescape The service is not available in Denmark so it isn't really relevant for me, but those prices are insane! 4000 $ for their cheapest movie player! 5000$ for what is basically a 8 TB harddrive and some mediaserver software! Who in their right mind would pay that!?
I get that the quality is, or at least can be, slightly better quality than 4k blu-ray. But you can't convince me that it is that much better!

Also their marketing has almost as much bullshit as MQA did.
