My "overly idealistic and naive" take: Deliberately targeting a desalination plant is in essence the same thing as deliberately targeting a school or a hospital. If there is ever a time when a military intervention half way across the globe is somewhat justified, it would be to stop this from happening - NOT to perpetrate it ourselves. And two wrongs do not create a right in this, Iran's attacks on desalination plants in Bahrain & Kuwait, in supposed reprisal for the apparent attack on Iran's Qeshm Island facility are ALL wrong, and should not be followed up with US threats to continue the war crimes in this.
The Feb 28 attack occurred the same day as a #US #Tomahawk cruise missile struck a #school in the city of #Minab, several hundred miles away, killing 175 people. In the case of #Lamerd, though, it involved a weapon that had been #untested in combat.
