Here are my stray cat friends from Kakaako Waterfront Park: I call them Fatty, Darkness, & Toupee. Fatty usually just likes to lounge around on the ground. Darkness is so soft to rub. Toupee will stretch out for a good long rubbing and meow at you if you stop too early. #Honolulu #Kakaako

Art by Tonk, spotted in Hawaii, near the Kaka'ako Murals in Honlulu. I love Tonk's characters and style. It's cool seeing cartoony work, wheatpasted on walls like this. #Tonk #Hawaii #Graffiti #kakaako #wheatpasteart

Today's #SidewalkFriends sketch is "Sidewalk Surfing". While visiting the murals of Kaka'ako in Honolulu, Hawaii, I noticed some cracks in the sidewalk that served as inspiration for this drawing. I like to take photos while I walk and use those photos as starting points for each of my Sidewalk Friends illustrations. #Procreate #Honolulu #Kakaako #Surf #Hawaii
A photo from the recent rains, with cloud-filled skies and wet walkways. It was actually a pretty neat-looking day. #sliceOfLife #kakaako
Lucky to catch Kamuela Kahoano kicking off a noontime concert series at Ward Village... with a rare appearance by his mom! #kamuelamusic #wardvillage #kakaako #honolulu #hawaii
