@krakenapocalypse I found this post by hunting for some authors I love. :-) Last book I loved was Piranesi #susannaclarke … not perfect (moustachio-twirling-villains-problem), but so different and delightful. I noticed Sorcerer of the Wildeeps (#kaiashantewilson ) on your list too… such a wonderful, disarrayed book.
