Dammm I had no idea in how weird spot is choosing #monitor . In most other tech cases getting something pricier gives you something better, maybe overpriced and unnecessary but still at least a bit better than the cheaper versions. In cases of monitors? Welp no. I use my home monitor for both gaming, some media consumption and also working, mostly with text. I wanted something nice all of the expensive monitors are #OLED so easy case yes? Nope I am not even talking about burn in which makes you jump hoops and do some weird stuff like hiding or toolbar but apparently text fringing is a big problem and need for really shaded environment. Okey than it is no go #miniled? Well no HDR content has no benefit for perfect black as contrast is going completely bonkers and blooming is a problem.
And now I am in a bind I bought #ktc 27M6P but it feels like I changed one led to another well with the benefit of #4k which don’t get me wrong is amazing for text work, same as 160Hz. I still have no idea if I should keep it or return it.
