In a generally incompetent government, this Minister easily ranks among the very #worst . With absolutely NO background in tax and even less in management she has, over the years, managed to alienate every small #TaxProfessional in the country, while allowing #KPMGscam abusers to escape penalty- and prison-free.
Oh those folks were just ... mistaken. Right? Right?

CRA agents (those who don't speak broken English) are generally excellent and helpful.
CRA management - the ones with fat salaries - are universally #awful and should mostly be thrown out with the garbage. Poor decision-makers bending to the wills of their political masters to let scams go unpunished (#KPMGscam ).
Lousy planners who don't see tax pros as their partners in delivering a service.

"Respect us" says PSAC and @canrevagency workers. Are you joking? You take an average of six months to make simple adjustments to tax returns, can't assess properly, let tax cheats in #KPMGscam off scot-free, take 45 min on hold on phone lines for ANY call and management thinks its doing a wonderful job!
Fire @bobwkhamilton and his entire #incompetent management team.

...and then there was #KPMGscam where everyone knew about the illegal plan and CRA signed off on NOT prosecuting and NOT charging penalties.
Nobody was fired.
Bob Hamilton is still head of CRA.
