Voetbalclub rouwt om Frans (36): 'Hij wist altijd een glimlach op gezichten te toveren'

Voetbalvereniging MVV '27 uit Maasland heeft dinsdag bekendgemaakt dat voormalig lid Frans is overleden na een noodlottig kitesurfongeluk op het strand van Rockanje. De club spreekt van 'het veel te vroege en plotselinge overlijden' en zegt geraakt te zijn door het verlies van het oud-lid. 'Met zijn gevoel voor humor zorgde hij voor sfeer in de kleedkamer en wist hij altijd een glimlach op het gezicht van zijn medespelers te toveren.'
