This peaceful area is most famous for its seafood dishes and epic national park. It is a place to go for day on the beach, renting a hammock and watching the sun set, riding your bike around the national park, having a look at the old colonial villas, or taking a day trip to Rabbit Island.

In der Studie von 2019 wurde als Zielmarke gesetzt, dass bis 2030 95% der #KEP-Fahrzeuge emissionsfrei fahren und dabei 25% der Sendungen von Firmen an Kund:innen und 5% der Sendungen von Firmen an Firmen auf Lastenräder verlagert werden.
Dazu hätte aber bereits bis 2025 der Radverkehr und Nullemissionsfahrzeuge privilegiert und konventionelle Fahrzeuge mit Restriktionen belegt werden müssen. Dies ist leider nicht geschehen. Zum Glück wird der Senat durch den gewonnenen #Zukunftsentscheid zu zügigerem Handeln gezwungen.

The Pin is an arched harp, first found in engravings in Sambor Prey Kouk, the capital of the Chenla kingdom - the last Khmer kingdom before the Khmer Angkor Empire of 802 CE.
The Pin fell into disuse with the empire in the 1500s. But now restored as a significant part of the musical cultural heritage of Cambodia.
The instrument itself was lost for hundreds of years. But the word for Khmer classical music survived as “pinpeat”.

It is a statue in white of a Apsara deity playing the Cambodian harp instrument Pin. But she is not the same as the other famous statue in Kep, the White Lady, or Lady waiting for her seafaring man to return.
