I’m really confused by the Hallmark-Royals stadium project. It just doesn’t make sense on its face to uproot a company from its headquarters WILLINGLY, demolish perfectly good buildings, and build a stadium.

What am I missing? Is this the city and Royals’ attempt to avoid a public showdown over land use, eminent domain, and a taxpayer vote? #kcroyals #kansascity
