@Recalcitrant Nose work! Hide treats around the house and let her go find them. Once she has that figured out, you can start to “pair” the treats with a specific odor (like a nontoxic essential oil on a Q tip) hidden right with the food. She’ll begin to associate them, and then you can just hide the odor without treats—and reward her when she finds it!
