For #SpookySaturday and #Caturday, here are yesterday's #Halloween pumpkins, carved by yours truly. For the wolf's head, I even attempted that negative-space thing, which I think worked rather well. 😊
We live in a quiet cul-de-sac, so we don't get many trick-or-treaters, but it was busier than last year. It was a fun day (and a bank holiday for us, so the kids were hyped up all day, yay!). We also had perfect weather, with no rain or wind. Still, I'm glad it's over. With kids transforming into mean little ghouls – not just from the sugar rush, but from the sheer excitement of adventure and sweets – I suppose this is the true malevolent spirit of Halloween for parents. 👻🫣

And with that, my Halloween posts for this year are officially concluded. Phew! 🎃

#FotoVorschlag: Süßes oder Saures // Trick or treat (literally "Sweet or sour")

Letztes Jahr habe ich zum ersten Mal richtig #Kürbisse geschnitzt. Für einen Halloween-Neuling wie mich gar nicht mal so einfach. Gleich muss ich dann mal die für heute Abend anfangen, aber ich weiß noch nicht, was es wird. (Ja, ich bin spät dran) // Last year, I carved #pumpkins for the first time and as a #Halloween newbie, I found it trickier than expected. Now I need to start on this year's pumpkins, but I'm still undecided on the designs. (Yes, I know I'm a bit late to the party)
