Matt 3595@dfs another vote for #justinguitar it’s been my source for learning since I got my acoustic guitar around a year ago. His beginners courses are completely free. You only pay for his advanced courses and there’s some apps that are entirely optional

Finding clear #guitar notation is almost impossible. Chords on top of lyrics means that in addition to applying time info while I play, I have to also extract it while I sing. Not helpful
I think I tried to translate the garbage online to #tuxguitar last time and probably failed
Oooh, I should do that *from the justin app* first to practice the translation skills separately. It's all about solving one problem at a time!

3 years ago, I loved #JustinGuitar for learning #guitar. The website, which is pay-what-you-want, is clear, comprehensive and well-organized.
The only problem is that I found the most fun and useful thing to be playing along in the *app*.
There was an app then, but it's changed. Is it still worth $$$?
(Later, I dropped the app and played to tracks, but I think I need to retrace my steps a bit. Maybe I should just go monthly for now...)

Most importantly: have fun, learn songs you like and stick with it! You'll never regret picking it up daily, if only for a few minutes.
