In #Castlebar, few people want to go on the record about the #BurkeFamily.

The town's fundamentalist fugitives #MartinaBurke and #AmmiBurke are nowhere to be seen. The duo are sentenced to a fortnight of imprisonment for #ContemptOfCourt, like Ammi's brother #EnochBurke who is held indefinitely held for repeated #trespass.

#JusticeCregan called it a "family circus". Who wants to be caught up in that?

#EnochBurke is due back in the #HighCourt #IEHC at 2pm on Friday 16th, for a hearing on the application by #WilsonsHospital that Burke should be returned to prison. The judge will be #JusticeBrianCregan, who jailed Burke in November, but released him on Wednesday.

By releasing #EnochBurke now & returning him to prison when Burke again trespasses at the school, #JusticeCregan hopes to undercut Burke's inevitable claims that he couldn't prepare his case in prisom.

But Burke is a #liar who will shout "unfair" whatever happens. The real issue is that Cregan doesn't trust his fellow #HighCourt #IEHC judges to accept Burke's unpurged contempt as his own choice to sabotage his preparation. 😞

#EnochBurke was returned to prison today, after he again refused to purge his #ContemptOfCourt. Mr Justice Brian Cregan told Burke that he will stay in prison until his contempt is purged. No release for Christmas or Easter. Next review of imprisonment: 3rd March.

#JusticeCregan warned the Burke family that they'd be removed from court if there was any disruption. So they behaved.

How #EnochBurke can get out of #prison.

Cregan again set out clearly that the only condition for Burke's release is to promise to obey court orders and stay away from the school.

Burke is entitled to believe whatever he likes, and to speak freely. But he is not entitled to break court orders.

The #BurkeFamily's claims are lies.
