The first was in 1941 regarding OZ being at #war with #Japan. One address concerned Australia's controversial history with its #indigenous owners, #COVID, #iraq war & 2008 financial crisis & now Iran fuel crisis.
The format itself is highly unusual & reserved only for actual crises. Australia is currently at level 2 of its 4 stage fuel emergency plan.
