- Chi Nwosu’s colorful digital illustration depicts spring ephemeral flowers native to #TurtleIsland: Shooting Star, Bloodroot, Yellow Trout Lily, Jack-in-the-Pulpit, Large-Flowered Trillium, Wood Poppy, Wild Blue Phlox, and Blue Flag Iris spread their roots to melt a block of ice.
In the foreground are smaller pieces of broken and melting ice.
