YEAR IN REVIEW: #JustHomeownerThings

- Got the driveway/hardscaping leveled/fixed up/re-sealed, which has already paid dividends this year re: snow/ice and will hopefully keep doing so once weed season starts
- Found out the hard way that you really need your minisplit interior heads deep-cleaned by a professional every ~5 years, simply vacuuming it yourself twice a year only goes so far 🤢
- Replaced both our bathroom sink faucets in the span of, like, a month. Thanks, previously hard water.

Learned today that it's actually an important calibration step to point your new studfinder at your companion and say "hehehe, found one", the studfinder does not work correctly without this step. #JustHomeownerThings

Grinding skirting board is the worst. 😠

Hmm yea I think it's time to replace the sump pumps. Seems the standard is anywhere from 7-10 years, and ours has multiple hallmarks of “more likely to die sooner instead of later" (lots of minerals in the water, high water table, runs a lot, lack of prior maintenance).

And will be 10 years old next year anyways. 😬

This task took me mere 12 years.
