Can't stress enough, that from a legal/#InternationalLaw - POW the question whether or not the use of force on the aggressor's territory is legit, is to be answered with a crystal clear "Yes, of course." (https://digitalcourage.social/@helgenug/110487934806286222). The only juridical red lines are drawn by e.g. the #RomeStatute (esp. articles 6-8) and the #JusInBello . Red lines like " #Ukraine is allowed only to use western arms against #russia |n targets on Ukrainian ground." or "We allow Ukraine to hit targets on russian ground, but only in certain areas and/or only on targets, that are directly involved in attacks on Ukrainie." are political and political only. They are no expression of an IntLaw-obligation.
@[email protected] Worth noticing, that the use of armed force on the aggressor's ground (within the frame of portionality) is in accordance with international law. The right to collective self-defence even grants it 3rdparty-states, when asked for by an attacked country (https://www.deutschlandfunk.de/interview-kress-100.html). #nojusticenopeace #internationallaw #crimeofaggression
