The #JuneRebellion, a delayed and final stage in France's #JulyRevolution of 1830, broke out on #ThisDayInHistory in 1832. Whereas the initial stage saw a cadet branch take the throne, this revolt was distinctly anti-monarchist. It is notably depicted in the novel #LesMisérables.
