There was a little color in the sky tonight as I sat around waiting for the bats to appear. Lots of bank swallows, a beaver, a few bumble bees, a robin on robin pursuit that had the lead robin fly into the chicken coop and stop suddenly when it hit the wire on the no-door side 🤣, a western wood peewee making it peeweererere sounds during the last bug catching of the day, and lots of little swarms of bugs.
