Pipilotti Rist's Selbstlos im Lavabad is a milestone in the history of tiny art. I still can remember my bafflement reading the artwork info on the wall in MoMa PS1, but seeing the artwork nowhere. Until I realised I was standing on it.

Detlef Hartung's piece in Media Art Days in Videbæk was based on letters, as his works often are, and the whiteness of the enclosed yard made it enjoyable sharp.

Another Thesmallest Vallila piece that is going places: Jere Suontausta's Starring Dust had a new iteration in Media Art Days in Videbæk. This time the starring dust particle was picked from Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon, as is the idea of this site specific piece, then filmed through microscope, the film showed on a monitor as close to the original dust particle's site, and finally the particle returned.

Vincent Westra's piece has been presented before elsewhere, but i do think that the trees around it were an integral part of the artwork, catching the flicker of the lighthouselike beam turning in the forest.
