#JulieBenko, who won rave reviews as the alternate Fanny Brice in #Broadway's #FunnyGirl, will get the chance to originate a lead role this Fall in the upcoming musical #Harmony by #BarryManilow and #BruceSussman. Previews at Broadway’s Barrymore Theatre on Wednesday, October 18, ahead of an official opening night on Monday, November 13.

Producers of now hit #Broadway musical #FunnyGirl have announced the show will close on Sunday, September 3. Some reporting suggests the show was to have closed in June, but contracts with the main stars -- #LeaMichele, #RaminKarimloo, #JaredGrimes and #TovahFeldshuh -- were extended. A North American tour will begin in September with casting to be announced. Michele is unlikely to tour but #JulieBenko, who fills in when Michele is out, is a possibility.
