His thesis is that the universe as we know it, with its seemingly random and coincidental physical properties that allows it to support intelligent life, is not something that happened randomly but came about through evolution at a cosmological scale

It's a really big idea, and he describes it very well. I've no idea if it stands up but I really want it to!
