八百屋さんで生のjujube (ナツメ)売ってた。干したものしか食べたことなかったので買ってみた。リンゴにちょっと似ているけどカリカリではない。軽い甘みがあって美味しい。そのまま食べるんじゃなくて、蜂蜜で煮てテチュ茶にするとか、料理に使ってみようかな

Listened to a podcast a few weeks ago where someone was talking about growing #jujube, which I have never eaten. For some reason it stuck with me.

So was surprised to find them in Woolies this morning, I bought 500g tub of them that were marked down 👍. They are like slightly chewier crunchy apple mixed with a slight date flavour. Yummy, but A didn't like. I might try slicing some for the lunch box, but otherwise I will look for some recipes and see what I can cook with them.
