July was a fun month for #boardgames! We continued our campaigns of #JourneysInMiddleEarth and #GloomhavenJawsOfTheLion, and I finally got some 2 player games to the table again.
Today we wandered around in Middle Earth and encountered a balrog in the Mines of Moria! 😱 That was fun! #TheLordOfTheRings #JourneysInMiddleEarth
We finished the "Bones of Arnor" campaign this week and I absolutely loved it. Really engaging story, and my character Dís was so much fun to play!
Last night we started the "Shadowed Paths" campaign that is taking us to Mirkwood and Moria, and I'm now playing Aragorn. Very excited!
Yesterday we went on some more #JourneysInMiddleEarth This campaign is almost done, so exciting! 🥰 Fortunately there are 5 more campaigns so we can try some new characters and roles next. (Though I loved playing Dís with the smith role!)

Finally unpacked all my expansions (1 small one and 2 big ones) for #LordOfTheRings #JourneysInMiddleEarth - surprisingly it all still fits into the main box!
I don't know if it's just us but we're having trouble winning the first few missions of #JourneysInMiddleEarth. Time keeps running out too quickly, which makes the following mission even tougher. I think we have to switch to adventure mode because it's getting frustrating to keep losing. 😅
We restarted our campaign of #JourneysInMiddleEarth, hoping we'll get further this time. It doesn't look promising, we lost the first scenario and got swarmed in the second one. 😅 But I love the game, it's great fun!
