What's interesting is that the Romulan drone ship moving so quickly and erratically is very similar to that mysterious Orion ship that attacked the Enterprise in #JourneyToBabel.
Not for nothing, but I'm not even sure that a human in Spock's position would relinquish his command to save his father.
