We just ended the last of a first series of journal club meetings in my research group. I've started this journal club with hesitation three months ago. Will anybody sign up? Will people read the articles and will there be profound discussions? Will people stay motivated?
My doubts were unfounded: considerable number of sign ups (9 participants in average, that's a lot given the subject is quite niche), mostly well prepared, great discussions and: the participants want to continue!
