In #Highschool I was in a class that watched an #HBO movie about #JosefStalin, starring #RobertDuvall.

I don't remember much of it, but I do remember a scene where a man who just found out he was no longer in Stalin's favour, pointed to his replacement and said; "Your time will come."

For #MTG, it seems the time has finally come.

On #ThisDayInHistory in 1927, #LeonTrotsky was formally expelled from the #CommunistParty. He had been a towering figure in the #RussianRevolution and early #USSR, and removing him cleared the way for #JosefStalin to consolidate power. Trotsky was assassinated in Mexico in 1940.
