Here are patch notes for yesterdays blip-blop session, giving a central place to the #Filter8 from #Joranalogue. It's an analog filter module, capable of running in low-frequency mode, so it can filter… LFOs!

What I'm doing here is using an envelope from #Maths (a falling exponential) to ping the #Filter8. With the resonance at near self-oscillation point, the ping yields an amortized sinusoidal response. I am using this signal to control the pitch of the #sv1b through a pitch quantizer, provided by the #OrnamentAndCrime (flashed with the Hemisphere firmware). #Stages is providing some gates for clocking. Nothing is in sync :')

Guess what, more sounds incoming! That's right, I'm on fire, here's a new #RandomLoop.

This one is definitely on the melodic and dreamy side, nothing harsh here. I'm using a trick where I'm transposing one pitch sequence by summing it with another, slower, pitch sequence to get transposition. This works due to the excellently precise #Add2 from #Joranalogue. Seems like nothing, but a good adder will allow you to do normal things, and bad adder will ruin you days.
