So, the #EU, rightly and wisely, declines to consider #Canada applying for membership, as it is not a European nation.

#Scotland would like to be in the EU again, and many Scots would like to separate their kingdom from the #UK. And there's a fair number of #Canadians would be happy to dump the monarchy.

How about Canada & Scotland join as the Kingdom of Scotland and Canada? Then we apply, jointly?
