Okay, so there's a tutoring ad that has been there for over 8 hours now. This means there's not enough takers to make it go away.

When tutoring ads disappear within minutes 8 hours is quite remarkable.

I'm makes me feel kinda good to realize that I'm not the only one that's not going to touch this one with a hundred-foot pole.

Okay, so I see a job offer.

In this offer there are a bunch of very exacting requirements, but the person offering it barely pays the minimum rate.

I pass...

So now I see another offer, with the very same requirement and coming from the very same person, but now they offer a rate more than twice the original rate.

Makes me think that they got a reality check from someone.

I'm still passing because I don't want that level of micromanagement.

I'm not the only one passing. This type of job offer is usually gone within 2-4 minutes. It's been there for at least 20 minutes. (ETA: it is now gone, but it was there for over 25 minutes.)

Some people have a knack for painting themselves as ogres... and most tutors don't want to deal with ogres.

There's a difference. A score of 200 on the SAT is an abject failure.
