I read once that Chinese people learn their history not in school, but from #JinYong, and thought, "One billion people can't be wrong," so the next day I started reading LoCH. The project of working my way through Jin Yong's ouevre has been slowed by my needing to read everything *around* the history in the books, but this is just as I planned it.
