Thinking about Jin and hoping his first day went well. He's a smart, athletic guy. I think he'll excel. All our guys are familiar with strict routines, teamwork, hard physical activities, and isolation. It won't be a vacay obviously, but I think they're better prepared than many new enlistees are. He's got this in the bag.

I'm feeling a bit emotionally distant. I think for me, I instinctively want to move forward, distract myself, make the time move faster. It's just 24 months, one month at a time. There will be a lot happening for ARMY to work on, and we should focus on improving ourselves as a fandom and see this as a test of our mettle. Be strong for Jin. He never wants to make us sad, so this must be especially poignant for him.
