They will appear again in a few issues of the regular series, before getting their own mini-series in 2 years. This is not a great start.

2️⃣ The Guardians get a little lost in the middle of this story. But it’s a cool story, so I’m not complaining. The guest stars impress. A lot. And the action is thrilling. Plus, there’s some foreshadowing of things to come.

2️⃣ SS impresses. No matter what century. He’s easily the best thing about this issue.

3️⃣ The first 8 pages are character driven. Nice moments for all of the regulars.

4️⃣ Plenty of recapping/flashbacking in the final pages and the setting-up of a promising conflict. Next issue.
