Ah, this is a bit tricky to address... I don't think I am smart enough to make the best judgement; but I would like to try to address your concern --- even if I am in no way affiliated to the #Guix project.

1. I do not agree at all with @efraim 's opinions on the matter. I believe in a #FreePalestine, but I also believe he is entitled to his opinion (despite it being incredibly unkind of him to not steelman Greta's main points). This does not mean I am an antisemite; it means I am anti-genocide (he may be able to learn from #JewsSayFREEPalestine ).

2. I am not sure whether trial by toots might be the most appropriate tactic. In no way will it help to change Efraim's opinions (if he were open to do so). And I fear it may even cause harm in the long-term to the project.

3. I think he is smart enough to know that most of us see that --- even though he is not directly saying pro-genocide things --- he is very vocal about enabling those doing the deeds (or putting down humanitarians like Greta) to try to sway public opinion; he may retort with hyperbolic bad-faith comments trying to conflate support to Palestinians with bad things. Let's give him a chance to reflect.

4. Let's leave this for the Guix maintainers to decide.
