#Palestine / Israeli settler attack on Khirbet al-Marajem near a Palestinian village in the occupied West Bank

On Thursday night, March 14, 2025, dozens of armed Israeli settlers attacked the Palestinian community of Khirbet al-Marajem near #Duma in the occupied West Bank, Nablus Governorate.

According to resident testimonies, approximately 40 settlers, some in uniform and armed, attacked around 11:30 PM. Three homes and one car were burned. Two Palestinian infants were removed from a home during the attack. The Israeli military was present but made no arrests. No casualties were reported, but homes were severely damaged.

The village is located near a new outpost called Gal Yosef, which was established after the war on land previously occupied by the al-Rashash community. That community was entirely displaced at the beginning of the war following settler violence.

Duma's council head, Hussein Dawabsheh, noted this was "the latest in a series of criminal acts, with the support of the Israeli government and army."

The town has a painful history - in 2015, an arson attack by settlers killed three members of the Dawabsheh family, including a toddler (the Duma arson attack). Amiram Ben-Uliel was convicted of three counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder, three counts of arson and conspiring to commit a racially motivated crime as part of a "terrorist act" and sentenced to life imprisonment.

#Israel / Jerusalem's Deputy Mayor Probed for Terror Incitement After anti-UNRWA Posts

Arieh King, Jerusalem's (al-Quds) Deputy Mayor, was questioned by police last week on suspicion of inciting violence and terror through his social media posts.

The investigation is realted to his criticism of #UNRWA on (Nazi friendly) X, where he organized protests outside the UNRWA headquarters in Jerusalem's Ma'alot Dafna settlement in occupied East Jerusalem. He posted a picture of the UNRWA building on fire, with a caption threatening to target other UNRWA facilities and a comparison to "the enemy" and "Nazi organization".

A police source noted that the Justice Ministry, not the police, initiated the investigation.

#Haaretz is reporting that settlers attacked Palestinians at a school in the West Bank village of Ma'rajat, in the presence of students. The residents reported the incident to left-wing activists, who arrived on the scene - and were also beaten by the settlers. Some Palestinians were evacuated from the area in ambulances. An Israeli rescue organization said two settlers were also injured in the incident.

Meir, one of the left-wing activists who arrived at the school, told Haaretz: "We were summoned to the scene and when we got there there were around ten young settlers, some with covered faces and baseball bats, and they attacked the school. As soon as they saw us, they attacked us - one activist was struck in the back and face, and I and another activist also received blows and were knocked to the ground amidst a flurry of curses.

Two suspects, David Chai Hasdai and Hillel David Ben Shoshan, were arrested on Tuesday and their detention extended for a week by a Jerusalem court. The pair are suspected of attacking five Palestinian women near the Givat Ronen illegal outpost in the occupied West Bank on Friday.

The incident, which reportedly involved physical assault and arson, left the women with injuries. One of the victims, Nufa'a Alaga'ar, reported suffering broken bones and severe trauma. "We experienced a nightmare," she said. "There were at least 20 people involved. How can they say they only arrested two?"

The suspects, both known "hilltop youth" (Jewish terrorists who subscribe to #kahanism) in the area, are facing charges of assault and arson with nationalist motives. Hasdai, who was previously placed on a US blacklist in February for alleged attacks on farmers and peace activists, is also under investigation by the International Criminal Court prosecutor in The Hague.

While the investigation is ongoing, lawyers for the suspects claimed the "evidence is weak" and they are maintaining their right to silence, fearing "biased enforcement."
