Hekate's Ladder made and for ritual use as described in the Hekataeon, with twenty-nine beads of volcanic stone, six rattlesnake vertebrae, a central sterling silver medallion, a metal flower, and an antique key.
Each piece is hand made with unique variations. No two keys, flowers, vertebrae, or beads are identical, and the hand casting techniques that produce the Hekatae talisman (the same two-sided Hekate talisman that I sell individually) likewise produce unique results.

A ring made with the image of the third lunar mansion: “a seated woman holding her right hand above her head … on a silver ring whose flat part should be square.” (Picatrix Book 4, Chapter 9, Paragraph31, trans. Attrell and Porreca 2019). The ring bears a square table with the image in the center, with a glyph of the moon on her right and the Pleiades constellation on her left.
Called Azoraye in the Picatrix and al-Thurayya in other sources, the Third Mansion of the Moon is associated with the constellation .Pleiades.
The Picatrix says, “In this mansion, make images to protect those sailing by sea such that they might return safely, to reinforce the prison cells of captives, to accomplish works of alchemy, to carry out any work done with fire, to pursue hunting expeditions on land, and to create affection between husband and wife.” (Book 1, Chapter 4, Paragraph 4, trans. Attrell and Porreca 2019) It goes on later to say, “The third mansion is … for acquiring every good.” (Book 4, Chapter 9, Paragraph31, trans. Attrell and Porreca 2019).

Two-sided .925 sterling silver talisman with the face of Terrible Humbaba on one side, and his epithet in Sumerian cuneiform on the other.

Humbaba / Humwawa is a giant monster made by Utu the sun, and set by the god Enlil to protect the cedar forests where the gods lived. "When he looks at someone, it is the look of death."[Gilgamesh and Huwawa] "Humbaba's roar is a flood, his mouth is death and his breath is fire! He can hear a hundred leagues away any [rustling?] in his forest! Who would go down into his forest!"[Epic of Gilgamesh]

Some texts describe his face as leonine, others say he is more exotically monstrous. My image is based on photographs clay figurines which were carried for protection.

Each piece is hand-made, cast and finished from a mold which I also made. Each piece is unique, with unique variations in texture and finish, including some small defects which are an inevitable part of the process.

"Roman glass" is exactly what it says on the tin: fragments of glass from the Roman Empire, unearthed with unique mineral deposits and patinas from their original use and then from their time underground.
