It’s really hard when you see a really obscure movie that you really want to talk to someone about, but don’t know who you could recommend it to.

Jesus Shows You the Way To The Highway is incredibly weird, and I’d like to wrangle with someone on whether or not it’s deliberately drawing on Theatre of Cruelty.

@Billtempleton described it as “a Hauntological Philip K Dick 90s low budget foreign rip off of The Matrix,” which is I think as good an explanation as you are going to get.

It’s such a weird juxtaposition of elements that seems to deliberately reject meaning. I don’t know if I liked it, but boy do I want to be in a pub taking about it with interesting people.

They say you can't make a cult movie on purpose, but I think this guy pulled it off. Can't promise you will like it but I promise you've never seen anything like it. Completely bonkers! Home alone for Christmas and I'm totally watching this again. This review describes it pretty well.
