Della top 10 restano in gara Alexander Zverev – ora il vero favorito del torneo, aspettando l’ennesimo colpo di scena – Auger-Aliassime e Alex de Minaur.
Oggi Novak Djokovic, testa di serie numero 3, si è arreso al brasiliano João Fonseca, 28esima forza del seeding, che si è imposto in rimonta con il punteggio di 4-6 4-6 6-3 7-5 7-5, dopo quasi cinque ore di gioco.
