I took this photo several weeks ago in Garden of the Gods. I love it because it looks (and felt) so calm and serene. In actuality, it is only a few feet away from a really loud, busy photo op area along one of the popular, short trails that gets swamped with tourists. Approaching the area, most people went to the left…I went to the right, and found myself on this peaceful little tree-lined path. ❤️

I think I saw the #aurora tonight!!! (Lots of light pollution so I couldn’t see much with my bare eyes, these pics are with long exposure on my phone)
Seeing the aurora borealis in person is on my lifelong bucket list, I’m very excited. At least I hope this was actually the aurora and I was not just seeing things lol.

I took these photos during my mental health walk around the neighborhood on Sunday but forgot to post them. It was a beautiful warm day, with the slightest hint of crunchy leaves. Almost my favorite time of year. ❤️🍁

A pretty sunset sky tonight. I was a little late with the camera, the pinks were much brighter 30 seconds earlier. But it is still a pretty mix of sunset pastels and dark clouds.
Fluffy cloud season has begun!
Always the first thing to blossom on my property while everything else is still waking up. I believe it is a purple leaf sand cherry shrub. In the summer and fall, it is an annoyance to me (because it grows very fast out of control) but for a few weeks in the spring it is just lovely.
