Jess Walter and Jenni Fagan both deserve a hell of a lot more respect here on the East Coast. I'm filling in my Walter reading gaps and I'm just amazed by how much subtext he manages to sustain on any given page. And Jenni Fagan? The Scottish emo punk I didn't know I needed right now. THE PANOPTICON is very much rocking my world.
