Everybody gets it wrong sometimes.
#JenBriney is the expert on what Congress actually does. That's her beat. Her podcast is #CongressionalDish.
When it comes to looking out for the interests of the public as opposed to those of corporations and the investor class, she'll tell you neither party is great but the GOP is much worse. But don't take it from me. Listen to her show and look at her sources. She's totally transparent.
So while I'm not a Dem, I have many reasons to vote for them when it matters.
#JenBriney covered "the bill" for over 3 hours over two episodes. Her coverage of the horribleness is great.
Please consider that progressives could run on repealing all the bad stuff, splitting the savings into benefits for non rich people and reducing debt. And probably win enough seats to overcome a Trump veto. But Dems won't do that cause most of them actually like those benefits for rich people, and don't care as much about us as they say they do. #JenBriney is just the best. imo she exemplifies #LiberalValues. She cares about people being factually informed and able to discuss issues and policy, more than she wants her side to win but without pretending she's free of bias. And she does a great job, no matter how many people her pushing back on the mob mentality will upset. And she recognizes the need to have her work be funded directly by the people in order to preserve her independence. #CongressionalDish

It's all three in diff areas but overall, outside of the military, it's mostly underfunded imo. As #JenBriney points out, the FDA says it needs more money to keep us safe. I'm sure #RFKjr would agree. but comparing that detailed understanding to #DOGE exposes their BS. they will just use the current corporate capture that makes govt look bad, to argue for no regulation. the opposite is needed.
Of course @JenBriney is just great. Here's her election debrief, coming from the perspective of what is supposed to have the most power in this country, Congress. #journalism best serves us by focusing on that and not the game, but we act like children and reward them with much more attention/money for that instead of people like her who barely survive. #uspol #CongressionalDish #JenBriney

#JenBriney goes deep on the #immigration bills. we need more judges to process claims. crazy that we can't do that. but I want the best guesses on what drives it. it can vary wildly. and what are the numbers on illegal entry and over stays and what changes have the greatest effect? are we doing enough to prevent folks here illegally from working? I strongly believe that we're not solving this because donors don't want us to. it's good for employers. #CongressionalDish
