Just finished watching #TheOldMan with #JeffBridges amongst others.

Superb performances all round and beautiful cinematography. A compelling story-line. Doesn't get much better than this, IMO.

Sadly cancelled after 2 seasons, with obviously more story to tell.

Once upon a time when we rented DVDs from special shops, we rented The Men Who Stare At Goats. Very funny, some top actors. I picked up a DVD of it from an op shop last year, and we just watched it again last night.

Solid pisstake of gung-ho military meets hippy psychics. Well acted by all. A bit of a sausage fest, very few women get a look-in, but maybe that's a feature not a bug.
